Purpose of the Site
This site aims at introducing 3 puzzle books.
There is no shopping cart on this site as all eBooks can be purchased from Amazon (in various countries).
Each book is available in two formats: Kindle (ePUB) and paperbacks that are printed on demand.
Each book will have:
1) A free sample puzzle
2) A free downloadable PDF file used with puzzles that require pencil and paper.
One page contains Resources (Click Here). The purpose is to include links mentioned in the books for those who purchase the Paperback edition.
Weekly Puzzles: each week (or so), the author will introduce a new puzzle with its solution.
Introducing the Books
These 3 books are meant to provide the kind of puzzles that challenge
your mind to keep it active. The riddles and brain teasers require insight,
lateral thinking and elegant logic. Detailed solutions are provided. Each book
contains 50 puzzles with their detailed solutions.
The collection avoids puzzles that require brute force to
solve. Also excluded are those that are commonly known.
The collected puzzles do not require general knowledge nor do
they need competence in such domains as math or algebra. They vary in
difficulty from simple, “AHA” types to puzzles that require 5-7 minutes to
solve.
The puzzles have been collected by the author throughout the
years from various sources: books, YouTube videos and traditional lore.
The first book contains puzzles 1 to 50. The second contains
51 to 100 and the third contains 101 to 150.
Foxy: The Mascot of the Website
Foxy is a curious, crafty and
cunning character. Foxy can arrive at solutions to problems others would fine
unwieldy. This book relies on the use of mental processes used by Foxy to solve
foxy problems.
